Day 1: Delhi
Arrive Delhi and welcome by our representative. Installation at the hotel and visit the city following the arrival time.

Day 2: Delhi - Mandawa (213 kms)
Departure to Mandawa (located on the Silk Road) in the Shekawati. Known for its beautiful colorful houses colorful frescoes belonging to the wealthiest merchants in the area. Days 8 and 9: Jodhpur - Udaipur (258 kms)

Day 10: Udaipur - Pushkar (320 kms)
Arrival at the hotel overlooking the lake. Walk on the Ghats and visit the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. Many shops and sights.
Days 11 and 12: Pushkar - Jaipur (142 kms)
Drive to Jaipur. Installation at the hotel and early visits. Discover the city: the City Palace where the Maharaja still lives; Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, shaped crown of Lord Krishna; walk in the city and turn Rickshaw on the market, film show "Bollywood". Excursion to Amber Fort. Amber was the capital of the ancient state of Rajputana founded by Minas and abandoned several centuries later. The fort consists of 3 nested strongholds in each other. Day 13: Jaipur - Fathepur Sikri - Agra (235 kms)

Return to the hotel for breakfast and visit the Red Fort of Agra (a Unesco World Heritage Site).
Day 14: Agra - Jhansi - Orchha
Transfer to the train station and boarding the Shatabdi Express which takes you up to Jhansi. Drive to Orchha former royal city "Bundella". Discovery of Jahangir Mahal Palace, the palace of the Raj Mahal containing beautiful frescoes, and Praveen Raj Mahal palace that stands in a garden.
Days 15 and 16: Orchha - Khajuraho (173 kms)
Entry in the Ganges Valley and drive to Khajuraho was the capital of the Chandela kings. Visit its surprising sculpted temples displaying beautiful friezes and sculptures representing the arts of love. (listed in UNESCO)
Days 17 and 18: Khajuraho - Benares (Varanasi) (aircraft)
Way to the airport and flight to Benares (Varanasi). Rickshaw ride on the Ghats at a time when the priests gather at the Ganges and bless the pilgrims. You will attend the evening ceremony at the river. With the first rays of the sun, transfer to the pier for a few hours sailing on the Ganges, where thousands of pilgrims come to purify the sacred water. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Visit the Durga temple, many monkeys refuge and the Golden temple. Sarnath where Buddha start made his first sermon. One of the four holy places of Buddhism. Night in Benares.
Day 19: Varanasi - Delhi (aircraft)
Flight to Delhi in the morning and transfer to hotel. Continuation of the discovery of Delhi India Gate, Triumphal Arch top 42 m; Bangla Sahib Sikh temple and its magnificent golden dome. Past the Presidential Palace, visit Raj Ghat, where Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Free time in the district of Connaught Place. Overnight at hotel.
Day 20: Delhi
Shopping ... next departure time transfer to the international airport.

The country is very beautiful, striking, surprising, colorful ... but its operation is sometimes inadequate. Indian cuisine is famous, but it may bother some allergic stomachs spices. Their drivers are always remarkable. Indian roads are pretty good, but very crowded (cows, rickshaws, mopeds ...). The steps will be long, despite reasonable distances. Besides our selected hotels, cleanliness is not perfect in this still poor country. The discerning traveler tolerate with good humor and an open mind on these possible drawbacks.
